ISO/IEC 20000-1 is the internationally recognized standard for IT Service Management Systems (ITSM). It defines the requirements for effective management of IT services and supports companies in making their IT processes more efficient, secure, and cost-effective.

An IT service management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 20000-1 helps you to:

The standard is based on the principles of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and replaced the former BS 15000 standard. It is intended for companies of all sizes that provide or manage IT services – internally or externally.
